ARTWORK CAPTURE & FILM SCANNING

Different types of original artwork and analog films require special handling and equipment for digitization. Oversized drawings and large-scale original paintings can be scanned in-house for 1:1 or greater output. Fragile drawings and aging photographs can be digitally captured by camera. Negative films and transparencies can be scanned in-house on an Imacon Scanner or depending on the resolution required, sent out for drum scanning on a Heidelberg Tango.
Raw digital capture and uncompressed scanning is only half the process, images are completed with attention to fine details and utilizing ICC profiles and appropriate resolutions and bit-rates for the required output.
